What it Takes to Run the Mount Olive Annual Clothing Give-Away

What is involved in running the annual clothing give-away at Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Regina?

A coat room stuffed full of donated clothes         A fellowship hall packed with tables

13 boxes of coat hangers                                   300 hotdogs

1 children’s craft table                                      1 table of bibles

2 tables of kids’ books                                      3 pick-up trucks

16 people delivering flyers/posters                    25 volunteers over two days sorting clothes

40 volunteers on “the big day” September 28th

AND over 520 neighbours in Regina who came out and were in need of those clothes – and who were so very thankful for them. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

A big thank you to everyone who helped out and if you are one of the people who received clothing we hope you enjoy them and get good use out of them. Feel free to visit us any time here at Mount Olive, God has more good gifts in store for you here. May Jesus bless you and yours. With love the people of Mount Olive Lutheran Church.

Some of the over 50 volunteers who lent a hand.

Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good,
for His steadfast love endures forever!
(Psalm 106:1 ESV)
