Worship Services
Divine Service and other Worship Services
Our Worship Services are a reflection of what the congregation believes, teaches and confesses to be true about God, God's Word and about ourselves as His children in Christ Jesus.
Sundays
9:00 am. Services are focused on forgiveness in Christ Jesus and include readings from the Bible, a sermon based on one of the readings, Christian Hymns and songs, prayers for those in need within a consistent framework conducted from one of a number of responsive liturgies from The Lutheran Service Book.
11:00 am. Both the 9 and 11 am Services follow the same liturgical format. The later Service is great for those who like to catch a little extra sleep Sunday mornings or for those who where out late Saturday night!
All Services are held in the Sanctuary. Divine Service with Holy Communion (The Sacrament of the Altar) is celebrated each Sunday at both Services.
Divine Service (from the German word Gottesdienst) is the term used for the main worship Service used by Confessional Lutheran churches. The structure of the Divine Service highlights God as the primary actor. God serves the people by forgiving their sins and giving them His Word and Sacraments.
