New Member Sunday April 28th 2013
Sunday April 28th Saw the Official Recognition of New Members at Mount Olive
In the past year Mount Olive has brought thirty-one new members into the congregation; eleven by infant/children’s baptism, two by adult baptism, three by adult confirmation, and fifteen by transfer of membership or profession of faith. The picture above was taken of some of our new members with one or two extra family members thrown in for good measure too! Following the service new members were treated to a potluck dinner hosted by the fellowship committee and greeted by the congregation both by our MC for the afternoon and by our Vice Chairman of the congregation Jim Nixon. We wish to welcome all our new members! May God bless their fellowship with us at Mount Olive.
