SUNDAY SCHOOL FOR ADULTS

Mount Olive Lutheran Church

SUNDAY SCHOOL FOR ADULTS: We begin a new Bible Study on February 9th. The study is called “Who am I and what am I doing here?” We invite you to join us as we tackle questions that eventually confront everyone. Usually the two questions begin to nag in childhood. Aware of a wide universe and seeking to grasp his or her place within it, a child asks and wonders. The questions do not go away with time. Perhaps the nagging can be quelled or covered with distractions and with rationalizations. But the questions refuse to go away; they demand an answer. God has the answers. Using what God has revealed, this study will provide honest and straightforward answers to these twin questions. God does not leave us desolate, wondering who we are. He does not condemn us to grope in the dark, seeking meaning in life. People are not left to determine their own truth or stumble through their days without direction. The six sessions of this study will explore what God has revealed about life’s biggest questions. They will shed light on the difference that knowing the answers makes for the way a person lives. And it does make a difference—a profound difference. The answers are waiting. God is ready to tell you not only who you are but also what you’re doing here. Please join us in the Library/Lounge at 9 AM on most Sundays!
