APPRECIATION DAY FOR POLICE AND FIRST RESPONDERS

An opportunity to learn and share; to hear stories; and to share a meal together. This was again the ambient of Mount Olive's annual Appreciation meal for all our city's Police, First Responders; Fire, and EMS, hosted on Wednesday, April 12th, from 11:00AM to 11:00PM.

During the course of our 12-hour shift dozens of Police Officers and First Responders came into our facilities to enjoy coffee, treats and good conversation. Many retired Officers also joined us for this event of appreciation for their Service to the Community. The Appreciation Meal 2023 was hosted also as part of the events in our celebration of Mount Olive's 70th Anniversary.

It is always a special occasion for us being able to provide this space of recognition, friendship and interaction. We are also encouraged by the words an Officer once said, "it is good to come to a place where people receive you with a smile and appreciation"!

POLICE AND FIRST RESPONDERS APPRECIATION MEAL

The Outreach Committee, together with the 70th Anniversary Committee, will once again be hosting the annual Appreciation meal for all our city's First Responders; Fire, EMS and Police. It will be held on Wed, April 12th from 11am – 11pm. it is a great opportunity to show our appreciation to these important men and women who dedicate their lives to serve ou community, and to keep it safe.

The event is also celebrating the 70th Anniersary of Mount Olive in 2023. Everyone is invited to drop by at any time of the day between 11am and 11pm to have a coffee and a treat, and to interact with all these professionals. Come join us!
