LWML Meeting

LWMLC INVITES YOU!  Our next LWMLC meeting is Tuesday, May 22 and we are inviting the congregation to join us. Lorna Pederson will be our guest speaker talking to us about the Malabar Mission Society. The society was founded in 1988 by Reverend Dr. Roland Miller after he and his wife spent 23 years doing missionary work in India from 1953 to 1976. They felt the need for a means of assuring that the ministry in India could continue to grow, both financial and through prayer. As the society was being organized, Dr. Miller was a Professor of Islam and World Religions and Academic Dean at Luther College at the University of Regina. Initially, it was the Regina residents who helped organize the society and now has members throughout Canada and in many of the American states. We will meet in the church lounge at 7:30pm, followed by cookies and coffee. We hope you can join us.
