German Service - March 2021

Welcome to our March German Service. Pastor Lucas Albrecht leads us in our Fastenzeit Gottesdienst as we receive God's good gifts.
This time we have also a special ackowledgement to the Saskatchewan German Council, together with Sask Lotteries and SaskCulture. We have received a special grant that was availale as an emergency fund during the pandemic. The onetime COVID Emergency Funding Grant will be put towards our project of acquiring computer equipment that not only allow us to continue our Online Ministry but to enhance the quality!
Thank you very much!

From our letter to the SGC:
"On behalf of Pastor Giese, Pastor Albrecht and the entire church council, I am writing to thank the Saskatchewan German Council {SGC) Finance Committee, for its most generous support of our Online Ministry, through the COVID Emergency Funding Grant.
Mount Olive Lutheran Church has been following all of the Saskatchewan Government's public health guidelines and will continue to do so. These guidelines, which require reduced attendance for in-person worship, have necessitated an online presence for Mount Olive so we can continue to reach our members. Yet it is not only Mount Olive's members that we can reach online but also the broader Saskatchewan community and beyond. It is for this reason that we recently added a monthly German worship service to our Online Ministry, accessible through our Facebook page and YouTube channel.
We acknowledge the SGC, Sask Lotteries and SaskCulture for their support as well.
Thank You!
Ruben Manz Chairman
Mount Olive Lutheran Church
