Sunday December 24th Advent Service 10am & Candlelight Christmas Eve Services filled with the Christmas carols we love to sing @ 5 & 7pm. Christmas Morning Divine Service 10am Monday.

In the hustle and bustle remember to take some time to celebrate the reason for the season. Yes, while mortals sleep, and the angel’s keep their watch of wond'ring love, Jesus sends forth His invitation to you, “Come to Me, all who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” [Jesus sends this invitation to you all year long yet in these days as Christmas approaches how wonderful it is to hear Him say,] “Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” As our thoughts again linger on the hopes and fears of all the years who couldn’t do with a little rest for their soul these days?

Join us at Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Regina Saskatchewan for one more Advent Service at 10am on Sunday December 24th with Holy Communion, or for one of our candlelight Christmas Eve Services filled with the Christmas carols we love to sing at 5 and 7pm, followed by our Christmas Day Divine Service with Holly Communion at 10am on the 25th. Sing, listen, pray, give thanks, “For unto you is born ... a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” (Luke 2:11) The one the angles proclaim saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom He is pleased!” (Luke 2:14)

How silently, how silently, the wondrous gift is giv'n! So God imparts to human hearts the blessings of His heav'n. At this time of year we give gifts and blessings to the ones we love because the Lord has given us the gift and blessing of His Son, Jesus ...
