Grief and Loss

Grief and Loss
Matthew 18:20 "For where two or three are gathered in My name, there am I in the midst of them."

Grief is no respecter of persons. Grief is necessary and normal.  It is a highly personal response to loss and it may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before. People may say things to you like, "Put it behind you." "Get on with life." "Be strong." "You can marry again." "You can have another baby." "You can find another job." All these statements are little comfort for those in the midst of grief and pain.

Grief and LossGrief can affect us physically, mentally, emotionally, socially and spiritually, don't go it alone ... it's time to share your grief. GriefShare is the Grief and Loss material that we are currently using at Mount Olive.

Don't choose to go the difficult journey alone, reach out an receive mutual support, understanding, love and encouragement. You are welcome to begin attending the GriefShare group at any session. Each is “self-contained,” so you do not have to attend in sequence. You will find encouragement and help whenever you begin. You will be able to continue with GriefShare through the next 13-week cycle and view any of the videos you have not seen.
