Pastor Lucas Andre Albrecht was born in Naviraí, MS, Brazil to Rev Curt Albrecht and Ligia Madalena Albrecht, the 4th of 9 siblings. He married Djenane Hans and they have two children, Charles and Rachel Sophie.

He graduated from Concordia Seminary, Sao Leopoldo Brazil in 1998. He earned his Journalism Bachelors degree in 2011 from The Lutheran University of Brazil (ULBRA); a Specialist degree in Human Resources (ULBRA) in 2014 and a Bachelor of Theology (ULBRA) in 2015. He acquired his Masters (STM) from Concordia Seminary, Sao Leopoldo in 2015 and is currently Doctor of Ministry Student at the Concordia Seminary St. Louis, US.

Ordained in 1999 in Curitiba, Brazil, he served "Peace" Lutheran Church, in Campo Bom, RS, Brazil from 1999-2004. He was called to ULBRA in 2004, where he served in different positions: Campus Chaplain and St. Paul's Lutheran Church - Campus Church planting Canoas, RS, from 2004-2007. ULBRA Campus Pastor, Canoas(2008-2011). ULBRA's Head Chaplain - Canoas and nationwide (2012-2015). ULBRA Campus Pastor and Professor, 2016. In November, 2016, he accepted the call to be Associate Pastor at Mount Olive, being installed in Feb, 2017.

Pastor Albrecht's skills include leadership, multimedia, music, languages, interpersonal contact and commitment to team work with the congregation. He enjoys time with family, reading, playing sports, specially soccer. And, whenever the opportunity is at hand, he would be hands on to cook a meal for family and friends.
